Emergency Dental

Dental pain or trauma? We're here to help fast. We keep time aside for emergencies and aim to see you the same day for urgent relief.

About Emergency Dental

Dental emergencies are stressful and often painful — and they rarely happen at a convenient time. Whether you have severe toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling or crown, a dental abscess or an injury to your mouth, prompt care relieves pain and gives the best chance of saving the tooth. We keep appointments aside each day for emergencies and prioritise getting you seen quickly.

Our calm, caring team will get you comfortable, diagnose the problem and treat the cause — not just the symptoms. If you've knocked out an adult tooth, time is critical: keep it moist (in milk or your cheek, not water), avoid touching the root, and call us immediately.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if a tooth is knocked out?expand_more

Handle it by the crown (not the root), keep it moist in milk or inside your cheek, don't scrub it, and call us immediately — fast action gives the best chance of saving it.

Can you see me the same day?expand_more

We keep appointments aside for emergencies each day and prioritise urgent cases, so we can usually see you the same day. Call us as early as possible.

How do I manage a toothache before my appointment?expand_more

Take over-the-counter pain relief as directed, rinse with warm salt water, and apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum.

Is a dental abscess serious?expand_more

Yes. An abscess is an infection that can spread and become dangerous. If you have facial swelling, fever or difficulty swallowing or breathing, seek urgent care immediately.
